Welcome to Langley Dam Fishery

Over the last 30 years Langley Dam has become one of the North East’s premier fly fisheries.

Langley consistently offers some of the best trout fly fishing in Northumberland.

Located 8 miles west of Hexham in the beautiful Northumbrian hills, it offers great value sport with predominantly rainbow trout and a mix of brown, blue and tiger trout. Our stock fish are from 1½ to 6lbs, with bigger fish from 10lbs to 18lbs stocked regularly. Our fish come from Invicta trout in Dumfries.

We have 5 boats available for hire and ample room for both bank fishing and wading.

Our Lodge offers a pleasant room to relax and socialise in before, during or after your days fishing. Tea, coffee, cans of soft drinks and a small range of snacks are available. We also offer ample off road car parking (at owner’s risk) with adjoining toilet facilities with disabled access.

We welcome club bookings through out the year. (see the prices page for further details)

Langley is a TROUTMASTERS water with an annual fish off normally held in March/April. Our annual juniors competition will be held on Sunday 6th August 2017 with prizes for all entrants.
